Kevin and Valerie Brooks accumulated 9 Big O Tire Franchises in western Colorado between 1996 and 2013. With the assistance of a business broker, they sold these units in 2015. Intrigued by the process of selling and interested in assisting other business owners the Brooks became licensed real estate agents and business brokers in 2017. In 2020 they joined Sunbelt Business Brokers.
Kevin and Valerie each bring unique talents but the goal for both is to assist Sellers reach their goals. With a clear understanding of the sometimes-overwhelming process the Brooks remain in lock-step with clients managing each step of the selling process thus allowing Sellers to stay focused on day to day operations for continued strength in the marketplace during the sales process.
Sarah joined Sunbelt Business Brokers in 2021 and she is excited to bring her experience as a corporate CFO to the small business sector. Using her experience to help the business owner understand their financials and present these to outside parties is a key component to the sales process. Her goal is to get the value the business truly deserves through quantitative analysis and an in-depth understanding of the business operations for each of her clients.
Sarah has experience as a CFO for 10 years in the healthcare industry where she participated in the transaction process with middle market private equity firms. The negotiations and detailed process of investment funding has given her value that she can apply to the main street business arena.
Administrative Assistant
Annette is the Administrative Assistant at Sunbelt Business Brokers of Western Colorado. She is a Miami, FL native and moved to Grand Junction in June 2018. She joined Sunbelt Business Brokers in May 2020. As the administrative assistant, she will provide administrative support to the Sunbelt team.
Working remotely from Wichita Kansas, Rory Johnson comes to Sunbelt with years of experience in management. Rory is semi-retired and when he’s not enjoying the outdoors, he spends his time assisting with marketing and advertising as well as a variety of other administrative roles.
