Michael has been calling the Western Slope home since 2006 and joined the Sunbelt Team in 2021. With a decade of experience in business valuation, Michael has been appraising businesses for sales, tax, and litigation purposes. He has work experience in public accounting and teaches accounting and finances courses at Colorado Mesa University. Michael has given expert witness testimony in several counties on the Western Slope.
Michael understands the importance of the business to the owner and wants to help each business owner to transition into retirement through either a business sale or other options that work best for the business owner.
Michael graduated with an Economics degree in Germany and an Accounting degree. He has served on the board of the Grand Junction Symphony and the Grand Junction Symphony Foundation. He is a member of the International Business Broker Association, International Society of Business Appraisers, Exit Planning Institute, National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants.
